Screaming and bloodshed were commonplace today in downtown Montreal, but fortunately only egos fell victim to the violence. We hosted a day of intense multiplayer for the community where select fans and a host of awesome folks from various community websites were in attendance--the hardcore of the hardcore gamers. It was great to have the chance to see our fans get a chance to play Army of Two: The 40th Day's vastly refined multiplayer modes and have an awesome time at it. It was hours of fun playing Warzone, Co-op Deathmatch, Control, and of course Extraction. It took no time for everyone to get into the swing of things, berating their rivals and impatiently yelling for their partners to revive them before they were overtaken by waves of enemies in Extraction. It couldn't have been more fun for us, and everyone who had the opportunity to kill and be killed in both glorious and humiliating ways.
Expect coverage from our event to appear over the course of the next week or two, which will include interviews with lead multiplayer designer Eric Chartrand and impressions of the multiplayer madness that ensued. We'll make sure to keep you updated on it via both Twitter and Facebook.
